Sailor Jerry's rum cocktails
I've found myself with two bottles of Sailor Jerry's, so I want to drink a bunch of it so I only have one bottle. :o)
I've thought of making a slightly modified Mai Tai, couple ounces of Jerry's, lime juice, orange curacao, orgeat. Then I think maybe I'll try a daiquiri variation, lime juice, simple syrup.
I'll post back with the results, but in the meantime, any other ideas?

Sailor Jerry, as a spiced rum, might not have the rummy flavor you tend to look for from normal rums. I think it would work well in something like a hot buttered rum where it's spices would work well with the nutmeg/cinnamon/allspice which would be in the batter. Personally, if you happen to find Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice Liqueur, spiced rum works very well with that. Another choice is using it with coke. None of those ideas are too inventive though. Another one that I know some people like is the Christmas Pirate. 1.5 oz Spiced Rum, 1 oz triple sec, .5 oz peppermint schnapps. It tastes a lot better than it sounds, which isn't saying much. If you've got the ingredients, you could give it a try, but I dont really like it that much myself. Alright, now, something crazy and off the walls. Sailor Jerry's Rum, Apple Schnapps (or Sour apple pucker, or something), and some Cinnamon Schnapps? Something like 1.5oz Sailor Jerry, .75 oz Apple, .75 oz Cinnamon?
