Nice place to have drinks outside

Looking for a nice place to sit outside and have some cocktails and maybe dinner in the Silverklake, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Los Feliz areas.

Mes Amis on Vermont has nice outdoor seating out front, as does the Cuban place next door. We went to Mes Amis recently and the food was excellent. We saw lots of people outside, enjoying the warm weather over bottles of cold Rose and cocktails. Haven't tried the Cuban place next door but it looked good as well and I look forward to checking it out soon.

Cliff's Edge in Silverlake has a fabulous patio....really special. The food is ok....I've read differing opinions on this site. I've never had a great meal there, but never a really bad one. And I've always enjoyed this huge, lovely outdoor space.
Also....Universal City area....Ca del Sol. Great outdoor spaces. Very good Italian food.

Firefly in Studio City has a nice, lively back patio, excellent drinks & generally good (not great) food.

El Cid, 4212 W. Sunset, has tasty drink and apps, though a bit expensive. Call before you go to confirm hours, though -- they're not always open early, and later on there may be a cover for the flamenco show. Typically not a problem if you get there before the show, though. A patio that is not right on the street!

Edendale has a lovely front and back patio. Red Lion, Figaro, Mes Amis, Il Cappricio, Farafalla are other options.

yeah, you can sit there as long as you like as long as you are on the bar side. The whole back patio is for bar patrons and you may order off the restaurant menu if you please. I think there are a few tables out front as well reserved for people not wanting a full meal.

Nope. It's first come, first served.

I second the rec for Edendale, real nice place to sit outside for drinks, especially the back area, there is no pestering what so ever and you can usually find a table.
Cliff's Edge has an even nicer patio, but you generally need a reservation to sit outside.
At both places setting/environ's is the stand out not the food..
