Dim Sum in Chinatown

Does anyone have a spot in Chinatown they think can convert a Dim Sum skeptic into a believer?

No, you have to go to the San Gabriel Valley to do that.

Well, not cart service, more of a take out place, but there is a branch of Yum Cha Cafe there!

If this means that the skeptic has already tried CBS or Empress, and wasn't converted, then no. Otherwise try one or the other.

When you say "Dim Sum skeptic" do you mean you don't believe dim sum exists, or that you simply don't like dim sum?

If the former, then any old place in Chinatown like CBS or Empress will easily solve that problem.

If the latter, I would head about 10 miles east on the 10 fwy and try any one of the many places in SGV like Sea Harbour, 888, Ocean Star, Elite, Triumphal Palace, Mission 261, etc.

Everyone's right, Empress Pavillion is the best place in Chinatown for dim sum.
