I saw an ad in the Improper Bostonian for Max & Dylans Kitchen & Bar...coming soon. Any info?

I saw too. Very curious. I must comment that the picture in the ad really reminds me of Silvertone. It is a picture of ladies of my grandmother's generation when they were my age. Much like the many back-lit pictures at Silvertone. Interesting that the ad has no information on where said new bar/kitchen will be. Also the fact that no Chowhounds have had any info after over a week....... VERY curious. We shall see.

I may be mistaken but I think the Improper blurb said the West Street Grill location...and the operators are from Scollay Sq/Tavern on the Water..not very appealing to me.

The building at 15 West Street (old West Street Grill) has a new flag out front with "Max and Dylan's Kitchen and Bar" on it.... Looks like they have painted the building and shutters and are doing some work inside.

Max and Dylan's just opened up this past Tuesday. I went there last night after having dinner at Fajitas and Ritas. It's right next door. There are two floors and two bars. The place is dimly lit with soft lighting and dark wood furniture. I thought it was cozy and sexy all at once. I highly recommend their Cougar Martini! I didn't try any of the food but saw a few dishes come out that looked fabulous.

They actually have a drink called a cougar martini? Gaggggg.......exactly what kind of clientele are they trying to attract?

West Street Grill was always exactly that kind of place. That drink name is just silly; what self-respecting cougar would order one?

Yes a silly name, but still a good drink and the place overall had a good vibe. They also have about 5 different kinds of mojito's including a blackberry mojito and a pear mojito. My friend got the pear one and loved it.
