Anyone know where I can get it, besides in my grandma's kitchen?

You could try Arie's Deli at 5545 Murray Road.

(Note: the one time I went, the food wasn't very good--the pastrami was all gristle, and it was expensive for what they were serving. Still, they're probably your best bet.)

Randal or should I call you...nevermind...I believe Arie's is gone.

I don't see it on the menu, but you might call or try http://shalombistroandbakery.com/Lunc...

It's been a couple of years since I first (and last) visited.

One other alternative would be the Nosh-a-Rye Deli at the Memphis Jewish Home 36 Bazeberry Road, Cordova - Phone: (901) 758-0036. I've not tried it myself, but it's certainly an possibility.

If the best Matzoh Ball Soup were at Corky's, it would be deliciously ironic.

I've been to Shalom Bistro before- if they didn't have matzoh balls, they would probably go in the back and whip some up...

Hmmm... I don't know. I'd be reluctant to order ribs in the Bronx (unless it was flonken of course) and I'd be reluctant to search out matzoh balls in TN. When I moved south 30 years ago I said goodbye to good deli and hello to great barbecue. ;*)
Have you considered making your own?
