V's Mini Burgers

Has anyone noticed the new trailer at MLK and Airport called V's Mini Burgers? We live nearby and have been anxiously awaiting their opening. Well, buyer beware!

Four of us went to day and ordered four combos - 3 with two burgers, chips and a drink and 1 with three burgers - and a taco sandwich just to check it out. After waiting for at least 20/25 minutes (In the hot, hot sun...we moved to the car, but they need to install some umbrellas! We were the only ones there. No crowd to slow things up.) we took our bundles home to enjoy. Once home, we opened our bags to find 9 small balls of foil. Inside there were small hamburger buns with -- I'M NOT EXAGGERATING -- half dollar-size, quarter-inch thick smears of black, burned meat (?) in the middle. On top was a dime-sized dollop of some red sauce and a half-inch square of cheese. There was at least two inches of bun left hanging around the tiny mess. THIS IS NO EXAGGERATION. Buns with nothing in them. The girl who took our order even asked if we wanted everything on them--onions, special sauce, mustard and mayo. We said yes on all. The taco sandwich was basically a patty melt with jalapenos, which sounds OK, but it wasn't a sandwich with ground taco meat, cheddar cheese and sour cream like the menu promised. For the potato chips, we received Ziploc baggies with potato chips in them. We were completely flabbergasted and can only wonder if this was some kind of strange mistake. It was seriously as if the girl (was she V?) took a ball of meat that was intended to make one mini burger and stretched it out to make 9. We won't be back. It was $15 completely wasted. Big disappointment. Anyone have similar experiences or was this just a fluke on the first week of being open?
