Flash - Beer Works Lowell is open.

I just had lunch at Beer Works (formerly the Brewery Exchange). I had the "1/2 bowl of chili and 1/2 sandwich of the day" - a chicken club wrap - both excellent.

Their menu looks the same as for the other locations:

They seem to be running in stealth mode at the moment - e.g. no signs up yet. There are tables on the patio, but no umbrellas. They did not quite have a full complement of beers, but I had no problem finding a selection.

Is the Concorde Brewery still next door?

I don't think so. Beer Works is going to be brewing there.

Concord is brewing at Pennichuck in Milford, NH now.

Are they actually brewing there, or are they bringing in the beer from another location?

They're not brewing there yet. According to the waitress, they're "borrowing" beer from their other locations. I think she said they'll start brewing later this week. I really should take notes.
