5 August Days in Vegas
My husband and I are attending a wedding the first weekend in August, and plan on staying through Wednesday the 6th. Two things on our culinary list of conquests are Lotus of Siam and Bouchon. Please feel free to inform us on any "must eat" restaurants in or around town...we love fine dining and dim sum, but especially love family-owned joints off the beaten path.

Rincon de Buenos Aires for their mixed grills and empanadas. Table 34 is an excellent choice. They do not do anything cutting edge; however their food is excellent. Their menu is at http://www.usmenuguide.com/table34.html For Mexican, I like VIva Mercados (http://www.vivamercadoslv.com/). I do not like the Michoacan restaurants as I find the food to be very bland.
