Brooklyn Bridge

Planning to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge tonight with a friend and grab a bite on the other side. What's over there that you would recommend (besides Grimaldi's)? Not looking to spend very much... thanks!

    I absolutely second noodle puddling. The owner is the nicest guy in the world. Go with the specials, particularly the cuttlefish (if they have it) or milk marinated pork. Excellent calamari too.

      I agree about the name but the food is excellent. BTW the owner's name means noodle pudding in Italian or something like that.

      Noodle Pudding, a pleasant Italian place in Brooklyn Heights about a 5 minute walk from the Bridge, offers good food and good value. They get crowded early so it's best to show up when it opens.

      Hours:
      Tue-Thu, 5:30pm-10:30pm; Fri-Sat, 5:30pm-11pm; Sun, 5pm-10pm

      If you want to really keep costs down there's Theresa's, a Polish restaurant, close by on Montegue St.
