where to find San Marzano

Any place between college park and annapolis that sells canned San Marzano tomatoes?

    You can get them at Whole Foods.

      If you have a Harris Teeter in that area, you can surely get them from there. San Marzanos are starting to be a lot more commonplace at everyday grocery stores.

        They're even at CostCo now. I buy there and make a whole big batch of sauce, then freeze some for emergencies.

          I get them at Wegman's, Trader Joe's, Giant. If you shop at Giant, they might be in the "Italian" section rather than with the other canned tomatoes.

            The big/new Giant on Rt. 450 in Bowie sells the Cento brand which is D.O.P. certified. Oh, that means they have a protected designation of origin seal, certifying that they are authentic San Marzano tomatoes. And yes, they are in the Italian section, next to the Irish/English section. And at the end of the isle, which is across from the meat section
