Finding Key Limes

Does anyone know where to find actual Key limes in Montreal?
do they have them in any of the markets?

They sometimes have them at Loblaws, usually $3 for a 1 lb. bag, unless they're on sale.

I have seen them on a regular basis at Loblaws.

Have you used them before? Because juicing actual key limes is notoriously difficult. They are very small, don't usually "fit" any kind of standard juicer- even a reamer is usually impractical, and the amount of juice to be gotten out of one is minimal.

I always bring back a stash of bottled pure key lime juice whenever I go to the US.

Agreed - they are extremely annoying to juice! Have you found bottled key lime juice at most supermarkets across the US, or is it found more in the citrus-producing states?

Unless Masachussetts and Vermont have secret citrus crops, I'm thinking pretty much any American store will have them.

          Gold - liquid gold.

If you are up for a 90 minute drive (45 each direction) you will find bottled key lime juice at Price Chopper in Champlain, NY.

Fruiterie Atwater at the market of the same name often has them.

          Howdy!

Chez Nino at the Jean Talon market has them.
