Kid-Friendly Restaurants?

Hello,

My family will be going to Montreal next week with our 2 1/2 year old son. His diet consists of chicken fingers, pizza, mac and cheese and the like. Can anyone suggest some restaurants that would have offerings for him but also some choices that me and my husband would like?

Thank you!

Amelio's has great pizza for adults and kids; La Banquise for poutine would probably amuse all of you; chicken fingers tend to open up a world of possibilities like Miga, which has breaded chicken breast that my boys are happy to devour and interesting options for you like Korean bbq ribs (as it is a Korean place but not spicy). I was there recently with a group of toddlers and they loved it.

Also something like lemon chicken in a good Chinese restaurant, maybe Beijing in Chinatown, would please a chicken finger fanatic while again the grown ups can have their hot and sour soup fix. Vietnamese places also often appeals to both age groups and there are posts about some of the good ones on this board. And you never know, you might end up opening up your son's palate!

we took our 2 year old to Su in Verdun a couple of weeks ago, it doesn't have any of the food you mentioned, but, he went crazy for their braised beef and bulgar even though he normally does not like to eat big chunks of meat.
