ATLANTA-Best Asian Favorites?

Bento box? Dim Sum? Vietnamese? Korean BBQ? Korean Tofu?

I moved from Sand Francisco, and although I love Buford HWY, I am still questing for the best.

So far, Tanaka is my fave Japanese place, but not near us as it is in Roswell and we are in Decatur. Sushi Avenue has a good, totally inexpensive Bento.

I used to like So Kong Dong for Korean Tofu soup, but our last visit was terrible, so we won't go back.

We have been to a few dim sum places, some ok and some horrible, but none divine. Do they exist?

I haven't done tofu soup in a while (and won't due to summer). My Korean friends note the servers at So Kong Dong to have a typically-Korean-server level of rudeness. I just hate that I can't negotiate getting the rice in the hot stone bowl. Came standard at Tofu 88 the last time I was there.

We have enjoyed dim sum at Hong Kong Harbor a couple of times on a Sunday lately. Doubt it stands up to a SF level of quality, but we enjoyed it.

Chef Liu on Buford Hwy has pretty authentic Chinese / Taiwanese breakfast foods. You can get a variety of dumplings other simple food your mom / grandmother would make at home. Check out the soup dumplings.
