One of Applewood's desserts last night was a deconstructed apple crisp with a generous scoop of BACON ICE CREAM. For those who think bacon ice cream sounds weird, you can move along. For those who drool at the thought of bacon ice cream, it was all that you'd want. Lots of applewood smoked bacon flavor that was perfectly balanced with the creaminess of the ice cream (gelato?)
