MPLS-St. Anthony main restaurant & concert
Hi, we're going to St. Anthony Main to see a concert tonight and was wondering if there's a decent restaurant there to grab a quick bite afterwards that would't break the bank ($50-60 for two). Also does anyone know if there are chairs available for the conert or if we have to bring some? I guess the music is in a courtyard between Tuggs & Vics. Thanks so much.
I cannot recall if they have chairs setup in the courtyard, however the patios at both Tugg's and Vic's wrap-around and overlook the stage on either side. None of the restaurants on Main are great in my opinion, however Vic's is not bad. I have never had an appealing meal at Pracna or Tugg's really, and I believe all of these restaurants (and The Astor) are all owned by the same group and seem to take a similar approach with their menu's: universally accessible and boring.
I have not been to Picossa yet, but I have read mixed reviews. Kikugawa was quite good the last time we went (thanks to recent pos. reviews here), however it will likely end-up outside your budget. You are within a 6-block walk from Alma, but I do not think it will stay in your budget either, however if you find some extra dough around...go enjoy. Also within a few blocks are Punch & Nea which are definitely in your budget and quite good.
