Proper Lady's Tea in Pasadena?

My sister and I would like to take in a nice tea (preferably with wine) in the Pasadena area or nearby. Looking for something very relaxing and genteel. Does the (old) Ritz-Carlton in Pasadena still do tea? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Rose Tree Cottage is very nice, very British. I don't remember them having wine, though, and they don't take credit cards.

The Huntington Gardens Tea is buffet, which may or not be what you're looking for. I was very disappointed last time I went in that they had put some of the sandwiches too close to the jets on the buffet table and they had frozen over.

I've heard great things about the Scarlet Tea Room Tea in Pasadena, although I've never been.

Although not in Pasadena, I think the Pacific Dining Car's tea is rather underrated. It's not a traditional tea room, but it's very relaxing and peaceful, especially since it's not overrun with baby showers.

Scarlet Tea Room is very nice, and good almond champagne, but a bit pricey.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! We'll probably end up at the Langham -
By the way, I thought Rose Tree Cottage was closed?

      How about Huntington Gardens?

The Langham (the old Ritz-Carlton) has a really nice Afternoon Tea. I just read about it in the LA Times a couple of weeks ago, so I'm sure they're still doing it. The room that the tea is served in is beautiful and has a really pretty view. I'm not sure if they serve wine, but we had champagne with strawberries when we went.

They do still do tea. We've been to Rose Tree Cottage with good effect as well.
