Top Chef - The Tour

I have no idea what's going on with their page there but I'm wanting to go ballistic.

From nothing there a week ago, to suddenly everything is either grayed out or in red and crossed out!

There's talk about 3pm shows cancelled and other shows already filled up. And nothing works, and nothing is clickable. .... In short, WTF?

Is that Antonia in the high, high heels?
Way to make her look like a serious chef!

And I can't get it to open either.

Yep, and other than Dale's shiny nipples -- and Padme, natch -- the sexiest thing I've seen outta that show this season. :)

Thanks for letting me know it's not working for you either, shallots.

not working for me either - all the links are dead.

how they have no dates scheduled in NY is beyond me. stupid move on their part, because now we really are gonna have to stalk the season 5 crew to get our fix ;)

I love the way that Miami is good enough to house an entire season of the show, but doesn't rate a stop on the tour.

      poo on them.

No Texas dates? With Casey and Tre being alumni I would think they would swing by Big D's way.

This page hasn't been working for a while. Maybe they cancelled the NYC area shows because of filming? It would have been cool if filiming for season 5 coincided with any dates of the show.

I got this confused with the CIA Top Chef classes. As for any NYC area people who have some money to burn, the CIA TOp Chef classes are going to be in Manhattan (not Hyde Park, like I originally thought).

I used my nifty economic stimulus check for the August 4th one (yay Marcel!).

Where did you go to find out how much those classes are? I clicked through all the links and found no mention of the Top Chef classes at the Astor Center.

There was a link or some info at the CIA web site.

If you click on the 'sign up for classes' it'll redirect you to the CIA website. I got my registration confirmation in the mail yesterday.

I would love to have gone to Stephanie's class- I really loved her attitude about life and cooking and how down to earth she was. Jen from season 4 would be also up there, as she was another favorite. Dale (from season 4) is also a favorite, but I looked at his menu and I'm not interested in perplexed tofu, and my mom makes hte best halo halo I know...:) But, Marcel has my heart soo...muahaha. I'l be sure to post after the experience.

Interesting! You'll have to let us know how it was.

And the ONLY sold out class at the CIA is Stephanie Izzard's class. :-)

Makes you wonder how well organized the shows are.

I think I'd rather do a few of them and overnights in NY ( I live in philly, train back and DH could still work next morning if he wanted) than spend the couple grand we were going to spend on a long weekend at the foxhill food/wine festival.

I wish they had done a bunch closer together.
