Top Chef - The Tour
I have no idea what's going on with their page there but I'm wanting to go ballistic.
From nothing there a week ago, to suddenly everything is either grayed out or in red and crossed out!

There's talk about 3pm shows cancelled and other shows already filled up. And nothing works, and nothing is clickable. .... In short, WTF?

re: Withnail42
I think I'd rather do a few of them and overnights in NY ( I live in philly, train back and DH could still work next morning if he wanted) than spend the couple grand we were going to spend on a long weekend at the foxhill food/wine festival.
I wish they had done a bunch closer together.

This page hasn't been working for a while. Maybe they cancelled the NYC area shows because of filming? It would have been cool if filiming for season 5 coincided with any dates of the show.
I got this confused with the CIA Top Chef classes. As for any NYC area people who have some money to burn, the CIA TOp Chef classes are going to be in Manhattan (not Hyde Park, like I originally thought).

I used my nifty economic stimulus check for the August 4th one (yay Marcel!).

re: ChefJune
If you click on the 'sign up for classes' it'll redirect you to the CIA website. I got my registration confirmation in the mail yesterday.
I would love to have gone to Stephanie's class- I really loved her attitude about life and cooking and how down to earth she was. Jen from season 4 would be also up there, as she was another favorite. Dale (from season 4) is also a favorite, but I looked at his menu and I'm not interested in perplexed tofu, and my mom makes hte best halo halo I know...:) But, Marcel has my heart soo...muahaha. I'l be sure to post after the experience.

Is that Antonia in the high, high heels?
Way to make her look like a serious chef! And I can't get it to open either.
