Error 500 -- It's BAAAAaaaaaack!

I'm getting it about every third or fourth click-through; and I'm on the boards frequently, so I am seeing it about twenty times a day.

It took me 10 attempts just to access this page. And now the dialogue box doesn't always show up when I hit reply.

This has been my problem during the last 1/2 hour. Also it takes about 10-ish minutes for a reply to be shown on either My Chow or the Main Board.

6/27/08. asked to log on. i did. hit return, error message popped up said i couldn't access that page and should try again. this made no sense but knowing things are a tad goofy right now, i hit the back button. low and behold, i was logged on.

go figure.

The last few days, this error has reoccurred much more frequently for me.

They went away completely for me, but now I am getting them about 20% of the time, and also experiencing similar server hangups when I try to post.

In my observation they never went away, just became less frequent. Maybe 3% of my actions on the site fail, either with no message (hang) or with a 500 error. That's down from more like 50% at the worst.

For me, they definitely went away. I use the site pretty intensely and there was definitely a week or so when it was blessedly error free. But yesterday I got 3 of them, none today (yet).
