It was located just off Shawnee Mission Parkway between State Line and Mission Road near the Hen House. It's now a Houlihan's. They also had awesome braised artichoke appetizer. Back in the day, Allens ( a big Shawnee Mission hangout) and Leona Yarobarough's ( an old folks hangout) was all that was there. It wasn't called Shawmee Mission Parkway then, it was Johnson Drive. We would always go to Allen's after school and dates for fries and then head for the plaza to cruise Winsteads to see who was dating who. Sigh - them were the days! She would also love to get the recipe. So sorry when that place closed. Never could understand why, as there was always a wait to get in.
