What a pleasant surprise to enjoy a delicious lunch at Sam's Cafe in The Smith College Museum of Art. I had a very fresh filet of salmon with carmelized onions and roast asparagus on top of a large bed of greens. Nice.
The space is open and airy and very comfortable. It's now on top of my list (with Paul and Elizabeth's) for a favorite Northampton lunch spot.
Who knew? Didn't even know it was there until I stumbled upon it at an art opening last week.
I think they are only open for breakfast and lunch and I'm not sure about weekend hours.
Anyone else been there?
Moe

I wouldn't say the salmon there is "fresh" in the strict sense of the word! But still very good and definitely beats P&Es for taste!

Wow, never even knew it was there. Thanks. I love their museum store.
