Mission Tapas Bar - Pittsfield

How is it?

Well, this is a sorta late response to your question, but I finally made it there last night. It's great! We shared 3 tapas (most of which range between $7-9), including the rib lamb chops, which at $14 might be the most expensive item on the menu.
Everything was great--well seasoned, creative, spicy. Service was excellent, the space is relaxed and comfortable, and the wine choices are pleasant and reasonably priced.
As a local, sorry I took so long to check it out; I'll definitely be back. 3 tapas & 3 glasses of wine filled two up well, and cost was about $55 before tip.
The only less than stellar thing is it can get kinda loud; not the place for a quiet, intimate conversation.

On the northern end of North St, right next door to Dottie's Coffee House.

Although the food is exceptional, the music/entertainment is mediocre and borderline hippieish. The majority of the crowd are loud and locals (townies) who can be less than inviting. Although Pittsfields downtown revitalization has been promising, the local povertyline still glistens in its nightlife. My advice, go and enjoy the food early. Then head south to Lenox for night activities. Pittsfield still isn’t really a friendly place to be after dark.
