Great New Thai in Stuart!

cfisch Jun 19, 2008 12:13 PM

7 Orchids on Ocean Blvd. in the Ceder Point Plaza has been open for approximately 3 month and it is exceptional! Walk in and it has a hp city feel to the decor. Excellanr menu of Thai and cobtinetal cuisine. Not particularly good at hot but great flavors. And very unique for Stuart and a asian restaurant has a good wine list. We have now eaten there 5-6 times and I highly recomend it!

That's good to know CF. I'll add that to the list. Where about is Cedar Point Plaza?

My few visits to Bangkok Thai and Sushi have been underwhelming. I'll pass this on to some locals I know. Thanks.

I'm glad to hear about this place as well!! Hope to check it out soon!! Would also like to recommend 'Dresa' which is on US1 and Kanner Highway in the Publix Shopping Center....they have a "pan asian' menu and very good sushi.....Looking forward to a trip to Seven Orchids!

I know this is resurrecting a VERY OLD thread, but just looking for some info on recent visits at 7 Orchids. It's been mentioned as a meeting place for some Snowbirds next weekend and none of us have ever been there. We'd sure appreciate some current info.

It's now been open 3 years and it's just as good! Plus they have gotten better on the heat level if you ask. We go at least once a month

Tried a place on US1 in Stuart called Krua Thai. It was extremely good for the price. The luck special was a coconut vegetable soup, complementary fresh spring rolls and dip, followed by the usual Thai main courses. The soup was excellent, containing galangal, kaffir lime leaves and lemon grass. OK, so those parts aren't edible, but there was a great assortment of veg with a wonderful flavor.
          All-in-all I was very impressed.
