Have sampled a few in Korea Town/Annex and just wondering which is the best one?
Not sure of the name but there is a Korean BBQ restaurant on Bloor just west of Bathurst on the north side. They have exhaust vents coming from the ceiling. Their marinades and meat are absolutely delicious!!!
We typically go to Sejong--haven't been in about a year as I'm no longer in the area, though.
They use charcoal, so it is especially tasty.
sejong is the only one on the strip that uses charcoal, good bbq, but their banchan is lacking imo.
I also like il bun ji, but they are more expensive compared to the rest of the block.
Are there any other Korean BBQ places that uses charcoal? Really tempted to try it out. Preferably something more uptown.
there's a place on steeles west of yonge.. it's in a plaza right behind pizza pizza and some shoe store i beleive... I've been there a few times and we come away satisfied all the time

It's called Seoul house (used to be same owners as the one on Dufferin).I don't think there are any good Korean bbq places in downtown Ktown.
There's also Sariwon at Yonge and Clarke but they're not always consistent.
