Star Fish Restaurant Merrick?

Anyone been here? We are from Washington and will be in town for the weekend. Friends have invited us and we wanted your thoughts before saying yes.

I ate there with some old HS friends last week. We all liked our food, and the service was pretty good. I had a monkfish dish that was tasty and not too full of fat (trying to keep the calories low). Everybody was happy with their meals.

We also tried the tasty "martini's" - they kept us happy!

If you like fresh fish and good drinks, you should enjoy Starfish.

While you're there, try Bagel Boss, in the same strip mall, for appetizing!

We met a friend who lives in Merrick for dinner recently and decided on Star Fish. It was quite good. I had a huge appetizer of 3 ceviches, which were very creative and intreresting. Salmon was good but not spectacular. Calamari and soft-shell crabs were very good. Overall, an enjoyable meal.
