ISO: Patio for brunch/lunch on Cleveland's East side?
Any noteworthy suggestions for eateries with outdoor seating for brunch/lunch in the cleveland area?
going out with guests this coming weekend and looking for a good daytime meal... indoor will do if the food is great, but outdoors would be better...
thanks in advance
fire has a brunch on Sunday. I've always been pleased. It's a small menu - carefully curated would be my decription. So no waffles but they have most of the regulars - french toast, (lemon riccota) pancakes, cured salmon, etc... In addition they have breakfast pizza and flatbreads, pork crepes, crab cakes, trout salad. They had quiche on their dinner menu for a while and if the breakfast version is half as good, you should absolutely get it. They have outdoor dining and the setting is one of the most charming in the area.
I bet snaeb is talking about Lucky's. They also have outdoor dining and a brunch with a large and loyal following. It's in Ohio City. If the Ohio City/Tremont area is acceptable then you might also consider The Tremont Tap House. I've had a couple good dinners there and I've heard raves about their brunch.
All three restaurants have their menu online.
How far West are you willing to go? Lakewood?

Melt in Lakewood has a nice Sunday Brunch/Lunch. Went there mothers day and had a yummy crab omelet. They have a patio...but its tiny. On the bright side, the dining area inside has been expanded.
