Corvino's on Rt 130 North Brunswick is open Sat and Sun afternoons for private parties. I have found the food and atmosphere quite nice.

Have you considered the East Brunswick Chateau? It is on Cranbury Road, across from the fairgrounds. They do a great job with catering, and also have an excellent public dining room open each day except Monday. 732-238-6600. Good luck!
