This restaurant was mentioned in The State newspaper today. Has anyone been? Their website is http://www.themillpondsteakhouse.com.

I went there a few times in 1996 or 1997 and really liked it... especially the setting. Can't vouch for it now, though.

It looks like they fixed up the older buildings since I was there.

I saw that too. I have been several times in the past, but not in the past 5 years or so. It was good in the past, but the chef featured in the article is new, I believe. The interior of the place is a little dated and not so luxe, but it's out in the country and was always a nice place for a "getaway" even though we were only driving over from Columbia. The restaurant "scene" in Camden and Boykin seems to wax and wane quite a bit.
