A new issue with "NEW" button

LindaWhit Jun 18, 2008 08:47 AM

Ever since the "New" button issues were fixed yesterday, I've noticed that whenever I post a response to someone in a thread, the entire thread shows up as new in myCHOW. But it's new because I've posted a response, not because someone else has. That's never happened before - when I would post something, it was noted as "read" in myCHOW *or* on the particular board. Now it's "NEW" until I go back and read what I just wrote.

Anyone else getting this?

I was just coming here to post about this -- yes, been happening since yesterday. Kind of irritating to have a post marked new when I know that there's nothing new in it.

I have had this for about a day. Just now a new glitch happened. Under "My Chow" it indicated a new post and showed posters name & how long ago. I went to look, their post is not there. I was able to access their post via "all activity" on their chow page. I also went to the appropriate board, which indicated their name/time as last update. Again, once the thread was pulled up, their post did not appear...

That's a refresh issue. I often have to hit F5 a couple of times to get the previously read posts to close and to have the new post show up. Frustrating.

I can't get it to refresh... I've just been having to wait a few minutes to read the new post. Very frustrating!

I have a similar problem, even with my own posts.

          Exactly what's happening to me.

Same here. Also, the last couple of days it's taken forever for the site to load, although that could be me.
