San Fran and Napa this fall

I'm traveling to San Francisco and Napa this fall. I need recs regarding dinner in San Fran, dinner in Napa and an excellent, small winery.

you'll probably get more hits if you refrain from using "san fran" as a description... that's almost as bad as "frisco"...

some people are weird about that.
