Post theater dinner with young nieces and mom

I'm looking for something fun and "New York" for a post theater dinner on Thursday. My nieces and my mom are visiting from California and I'm taking them to Hairspray. They aren't very adventurous in the food department. I'm not too concerned about price as long as its fun for them and tasy for me. in or around Times Square would be best. I tried to get reservations for Carmines but they only have 10 O'Clock and that too late for the family.

  1. If you want to stick with Italian, there's John's Pizzeria, on 44th St., b/t B'way & 8th.

Another option is La Bonne Soupe, the cute French bistro, on 55th St., b/t 5th &b 6th Avs. Lots more on the menu than just good soups, and there are dishes which would work for non-adventurous eaters. If your mother and your nieces have never tried fondue, having it for dessert would be fun for them.

Enjoy the show and Bon Appetit!

    1. Tony Di Napoli is in Times Square and similar to Carmine's.
