Mayan Cuisine

I have done some research on this site regarding cochinita pibil, and have seen Sabor recommend quite a bit. However, the posts are from 3-4 years ago. Does someone know if Sabor is still open on North Lamar? Thanks!

    I figured it was gone. I live near there and can't ever remember seeing it. Thanks for the other suggestions.

      Try Curras on Oltorf; they have very good cochinita pibil.

      Sazon's conhinita pibil is pretty good. They are located at 1816 South Lamar Blvd.

        No, they are long gone, unfortunately. Azul Tequila has some of the best conchinita pibil, in my opinion.
