New additions to the Upper West Side
Hey, I've been hearing a lot of things about great new restaurant additions to the UWS, an area that was apparently lacking before. In addition to Kefi and Dovetail, what new eateries should I check out?
Some of the good press involves popular places opening outposts on the UWS and Columbus Circle, like Magnolia Bakery, GranDaisy Bakery, Mermaid Inn, Jacques Torres, Blue Ribbon Sushi and the soon-to-be-opened Shake Shack and Fatty Crab. I think Bar Boulud near Lincoln Center is worth a try. It got mixed reviews for the full menu, but there are great things there, particularly the charcuterie. Grom makes some mighty tasty gelato, but they seem to be opening stores downtown now.
