Bedford Farmer's Market 6/16; ISO opinions of FMs in Lowell, Andover

Yesterday was the first Monday of the season for the farmers' market in Bedford - until recently I didn't know Bedford has one. Maybe a dozen stalls, some with candy, baked goods, and plants. There was more variety at the produce stalls than I expected this early in the season - I suppose some of it was greenhouse-grown, or started. Got a big heirloom tomato, some lovely radishes, rhubarb, chard, and leaf lettuce. One vendor had coolers of fish, but I had to pass since I had other things to do before heading home. Andover is the same distance from me as Bedford, but doesn't start till mid-July. Ditto for Lowell, but last fall when I went there at the scheduled day/time, the plaza was empty. Does anyone have any reviews of the Andover and Lowell markets?

Bedford Depot Park, at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and South Road. See for directions. (This is also where the Minuteman Bike Path comes out.)
