A Welcome find in Lancaster County-NY Style Bagels and so much more

mrbeachy Jun 17, 2008 10:14 AM

While on vacation in bird-in-hand,I noticed this cafe which was not there on my previous visit. So we decided to check it out.

Located at the corner of route 30 east and north ronks road in ronks, next to miller's smorgasboard,Whole Latte' Beans Cafe is a welcome addition to the lancaster county dining scene, with its tasteful decor and comfortable seating.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner six days a week , the diverse menu offers something for everyone. The menu starts with coffee from the Bucks County Coffee Company and NY style bagels-the only ones in the county to my knowldege.

Theres much more-the offerings range from a cuban reuben and other paninis to a grilled hamburger done on a old -fashioned grill. It was delicious. Desserts range from soft-serve ice cream to pies and cakes in a rotating glass display case.On selected friday and saturday evenings, there are guitar players and other entertainment.

Prices are extremely reasonable. Breakfast for two was in the $10 range, while dinner was under $20.

All in all, a welcome find that i highly recommend.

Is that the one that's in a corner building that looks like it was a Wawa in a former life?

I pass that location quite often and I stopped in for bagels yesterday afternoon. I have to say, they're okay, but New York bagels they are NOT. I'd say they're on par with most of the other bagel chains.
