Eats before or after Coldplay show at MSG

Have tickets for Coldplay on Mon. 6/23 at MSG - 8pm. If time allows we'll try to grab a bite before the show. If not we'll have to wait until after the show. Have done a search of MSG and Penn Station and am thinking of trying Stout. Any other recos would be appreciated. Thanks!

Nick & Stef's steakhouse is one option. I don't love it, but that's where everyone in my office usually goes before shows at MSG.

I second, third or fourth the recommendation for Stout. Not only is the food extremely tasty (arguably one of NYC's better burgers, actually), it's served quickly and efficiently and accurately by a first rate staff that are not going to hold you up from getting to where you need to be on time.

Molly Wee's is another good bar food option. 8th Ave and 38th (I think), it's just a block south of the the southwest entrance to the Garden.

Skylight Diner is decent...Artisanal is a bit farther east. I like Stout

Mooncake Foods - 30th between 7th & 8th (Closer to 8th than 7th). Miso Glazed Salmon. Yum. Cheap too. Everything under $9 bucks except for daily special. Same menu as their branch in Soho.

        Lucky you!
Han Bat (korean) on 35th is good. Keen's (steakhouse) is also good.

I have tickets to that show too and have been thinking of dinner places as well. If you need something in the immediate area, then Stout's beer selection and food are good (it's bar food, but decent). There is also Market Cafe on 9th near 38th which has new American food and I've always liked my meals there. There is also the option of Koreatown which is very close to MSG.
