I had a Reese's Pieces sundae at Friendly's for lunch today and am now feeling guilty. Does anybody know how many calories I ingested so I can try to adjust my intake tonight and tomorrow? I can't find the info on their website. FYI it was a pretty good sundae, but am wondering if it's worth the calories.

LL, that is my absolute favorite sundae. I know you probably feel gross (well I do after I eat one). And you're probably not going to like the link I'm about to show you....but what fun is life if we can't splurge once in a while?

Thanks for the ref to this interesting website, Amanda. Maybe next time I'll look at it BEFORE I order!

But all you have to do now is shovel grain for 155 minutes!

No but really what is so wrong about this one sundae once (twice?) a year? Nothing! It is so darn good.

Oh nothing at all, I just loved the conversions the website had on the side in order to work off the shake. I also found the 425 minute shower funny too. I say if it's something you enjoy then go all out and forget the calories/nutrition info!

        Calories 930. lord.

i didn't even notice this part:
        Total Fat 54g 83%
        Saturated Fat 23g 115%

now you have to go into negative intake of Saturated Fat today and tomorrow. there ought to be a law.

Yikes! I guess it's vegetable soup for me for the next few days. DSD, shakes are not my weakness but thanks for the recc.

Oh...my...god. Instant trip down memory lane. I worked at Friendly's (Vienna, VA) in the late 80s. I used to make a gigantic somethingorother like that just about every day. That and a fried clam basket.

I'm sure I took 15 years off my life in the year I worked there.

That said, those are a darned good sundae. I kind of wish we had Friendly's here in MN. Glad you enjoyed it.

This may sound weird, but as a teenager I was severely anorexic and on a really bad path. Then my parents told me that I had to gain 25 pounds or else they wouldn't pay for my college tuition. I had just gotten into my dream school, Duke, so I really didn't have a choice. My choice to "fatten myself up" was Friendly's Reeses Pieces sundae, the large one. At one point I was eating one of them a day or every other day to "make weight" to go to college. I have to admit, I had a heck of a lot of fun gaining those pounds, but really, they came on REALLY fast due to the high caloric and fat intake of all those sundaes.
