    Either this has been fixed or it's intermittent. I just refreshed a topic where I was seeing the tags, and they disappeared.

      I thought I had lost my mind! I made a post w/o HTML tags, and then when I went back to it, it had them. Makes it really hard to read if it is more than a couple phrases.

        This seems to be connected with the "New" flag issue. Topics with new posts since around 8:45am PDT get "New" flags and visible HTML tags. Older topics have lost their "New" flags and the HTML tags are hidden.

          not completely. I found lots of those HTML tags on old stuff without new stuff. Its ever so annoying........................
