I'm trying to eat at some new places (or new to me at least). Any suggestions as to one or the other and why?

    I tried Patois a couple weeks ago and thought it was wonderful. I was with a bigger group and we each got something different, but we each loved what we got. For appetizer we really liked the crab salad and the mussels and fries. I had the duck entree and it was amazing -- perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The servers were really knowledgeable and friendly, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well -- nice, but not stuffy at all.

      depends on the atmosphere you are looking for. Bistro Daisy is smaller, more intimate; Patois is bigger, in a bit more casual setting.

      the menu and food differs as well:

      and call Bistro Daisy, they can fax a menu (it changes often with what is seasonally available

      )

      either is a good choice and should not disappoint.

        Totally agree with edible's post!
