With one picky kid? Any suggestions? Do any of the places offer a childrens menu?

If your child likes bbq, you could go to Hill Country. No children's menu, but you can share portions.

If he or she likes pasta, you could go to Le Zie. No children's menu but they've go spaghetti and meatballs.

Elmo has a lot of kid-friendly options like grilled cheese with tomato soup, mac & cheese, fried chicken, and popcorn shrimp.

I thought of Elmo too, but it can be a little bit of a loud scene. I'm not sure I've seen children there, at least at brunch (haven't been for weekday lunch).

I wouldn't suggest it at dinner, 'cause you're right about the noise/frenzy level. But I've been there late on a weekday afternoon, and it was pretty peaceful.
