Georgetown Country Club

Has anyone eaten at the restaurant at the GCC? And, if so, did you enjoy the food? The restaurant is ipened to the public. Also, while in the area, what about eating at the Georgetown Grille? Thanks.

We used to go to the GCC restaurant semi-regularly, but have not been in three or four years. The food was decent - we stopped going because of the service, which descended from adequate to horrendous. (We were not members - members clearly got better service.)

We've been to the Georgetown Grille twice. Food is ok for pub food. It appears that they've cleaned the place up nicely since the previous occupant was closed down for health code violations.

been there once many years ago, probably just after they first opened to the public. i thought the food was pretty Solid. although the look of the place was nothing exceptional.

We love the Georgetown Grille. We have family in the area and go there at least one Sat. night per month to eat and listen to live entertainment. Generally, it is standard pub/grille fair with some great seafood additions/specials. Last time we were there we had a baked haddock florentine that was fantastic - fish had great flavor and was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of bread crumbs. Also enjoyed their lobster and shrimp triangoli - it's in a creamy pesto sauce with mushrooms, red peppers and something else I can't remember but we really liked it.

I think that is where On The Rox with Elle Gallo plays. She has a phenomenal voice. Thanks for the info.

Didn't know they had a restaurant but did just attend a wedding there and the food was exceptional for wedding food. I had fish and hubby had prime rib... appetizers, salads and desserts were perfect.
