any of the publix markets in the area carry them near the ice cream and toppings section.

I don't know what you are trying to do with them, but I substitute Oreos (wafers only) whenever I need chocolate wafers. I twist open the Orea and then scrape out the white filling, can't tell the difference and they are just as good. In the past I have made desserts using vanilla ice cream and Oreos this way or instead of iced cream, whipped cream (I haven't looked at it in years, but I think that is the recipe on the side of the box of the Nabisco chocolate wafers). Let us know what you are going to make/what you need the Nabisco wafers for, and then perhaps we can better advise you.

We are having a family reunion and meeting in Charleston. My brother is making chocolate bavarian cream pie, an old family recipe which none of us have ever encountered anywhere else. It is supposed to be made using the Famous Wafers but my brother cannot get them in Maine (he uses Oreos, but says it's not as good). I am in San Francisco and I've seen them here in the past and of course I promised to bring them to the reunion to make the pie crust and now can't find them. I'll check Publix in Charleston - thanks!
