Anyone know what the pickled vegetables are called which are served with the fried chicken and fried pork chops? It's a finely chopped green veg, kind of looks like a pale minced spinach except crunchy. I once asked if this vegetable was the one listed as a small dish on the back of the menu and was told no (the waitress' english wasn't very good so I didn't press her). Any idea where I can buy the veg?

It's picked mustard. Chinese call it 'sour vegetable,' and pronounced 'suan tsai.' You can find it in plastic wrappers in the Chinese market.
