Who has the best pancakes in town with real maple syrup?

    Clinton St. Baking Company has great pancakes. They beat the egg whites separately, and then add them to the batter at the last second before cooking. They serve them with maple butter, though.

        Here is one more in favor of Clinton Street Baking Company. And their maple butter is amazing!

        Sarabeths IN Centrak Park has some delic lemon ricotta pancakes..Highly recommended..also they make there own jam/jelly and it taste so good on the pancakes..deliccc

          I've enjoyed the pancakes at Fairway Cafe, though I'n not sure they would rate as the absolute "best" in all of Manhattan. I think it's real maple syrup, but couldn't swear by it.

            A friend with a reasonably discerning palate raves about the blueberry pancakes served at Vince and Eddie's. I have yet to try them but I also overheard another table gushing about the pancakes when I had brunch there a while ago, fwiw.
