Clover- and Siphon-Brewed Coffee

The 1/23/08 New York Times article on upmarket coffeemakers (http://tinyurl.com/4ns7ly) reports that there are five Clover machines in New York, two of which are at Café Grumpy (224 W 20th St) in Chelsea. The "Find a Clover" feature at cloverequipment.com lists only this location as well. Does anyone know where the rest are, and if other New York cafés have procured the machine since then?

Also, any word on whether the Siphon has since debuted in New York ...? Thanks!

There is a Clover in Brooklyn at Root Hill Cafe (I think that's the name) on 4th Avenue at the corner of 1st Street. It's a little more expensive but well worth it in my opinion.

There's also one at a place on Bedford Ave. Not sure of the name, but it's across the street from the L station. Sorry I can't be more specific. It's the first place I saw a Clover and the barista was complaining about the Starbucks buyout.

Re Clover: Gimme Coffee has two locations in NYC. Many Starbucks will have Clovers soon enough.

I'm assuming that this is old new for most, but Starbucks bought the company that makes the Clover... http://www.starbucks.com/aboutus/pres...

Any predictions as to when the Clover-made espresso will start to taste burnt and watery?
