Just heard a rumor that Chef Anthony Bucco from Stage Left will become part owner and chef in Matawan at the now defunct Le Pesce. Hope it is true!

A quick call to La Pesce. Not defunct. Currently serving lunch mid-week and dinner every evening. I have not tried it.
