GOOD FOOD IN SOUTH FLORIDA (EAST COAST)
New to the area.. there is no good food here... I came from Brooklyn, New York... any suggestions....

To say there is no good food here in South Florida shows a lack of taste. Sure there are endless numbers of chain restaurants. We do not have much in the way of Asian food outside of routine sushi and Thai. But there are many South and Central American spots at least in Miami-Dade. Not to mention places like Michy's and Michael Genuine. We are a car culture here so you must drive to eat out. It does take time to find the gems and they are here. Having spent time in Brooklyn, I have had my share of less than stellar meals there. I wish you good luck in your search.

When life hands you lemons.....
There is not much good food here but you have to search it out and this board is the best resource I know of. Trust me, compared to where I came from, this area doesn't offer much. But you have to actively seek out the quality places that you are looking for.
If you are interested in the Palm Beach area, search the board for West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. I suggest posting the immediate are you are looking for and you will get detailed help from people on here. You might want to post what you are actually looking for in particular as well.
