I love Sarcone's but I rarely stray from the Classic Italian Hoagie, it is just so freaking good.
What do you order at Sarcones?

On a side note what is your favorite lunch in the Italian Market?

If you ever get out to the burbs then stop by Sonny's Italian Deli in Limerick, as it's owned by the same family (same bread, too)! Check ahead if they're open, due to off hours.

the junkyard rivals my love for the classic italian. the sinatra is delicious as is the sauteed spinach one (though i think that they tinkered with that one and it is not as good as it was when it won best in philly a few years back) and so is the gourmet italian one. you really can't go wrong here.

and make sure you get a peppers and eggs sammie during lent. not that you can't make the same thing yourself, but it is so good here too.

I usually have the spinach/provolone/long hots, but Saturday I has "Sonny's" - prosciutto, fresh mozarella, spinach, roasted garlic - wonderful!

The tomato pie at sarcones bakery is to die for and so is a slice from Lorenzo's pizza.

The Classic Italian is by far the best Hoagie in the Tri State area, bar none. End of thread.

their vegetarian is amazing too. eggplant, rabe, red peppers, that dressing and that amazing sharp provolone.
