Aga Cafe serving Go Go Curry (Woodside)

I had lunch at the relatively new Aga Cafe. Their regular menu looks uninspired. However, I was lured in by signs which proclaimed that they served Go Go Curry. How odd, I thought, that some nondescript place in Woodside would serve Japanese curry made by a Japanese/American chain obsessed with Hideki Matsui.

The curry sauce with my single katsu order wasn't as good as the stuff I've had in LA. I presume it's similar to what they serve at the proper Go Go Curry locations. The katsu itself was properly crispy yet moist.

The group in the other table split an order of nachos.

  1. This replaced a mexican market/taqueria place, right? 2 doors down from another one on the corner? What else do they serve there?

Yep, I think it's the location you mention.
I only tried the curry, but their regular menu had the typical mishmash of generic offerings (which is not to say that it isn't good): Burgers, fried apps, salads, sandwiches, breakfast, etc.

    2. Been meaning to try this place since I walk by it all the time. Did you have anything else there?
