The Fireplace in Paramus

I am going to visit my family this weekend in bergen county and have very fond memories of the hamburgers at The Fireplace. Is it still really good or has it gone downhill?

They are still around and still have great burgers. I wonder if anyone knows which brand of hamburger meat they use at the Fireplace.

Nice to know they are still around. I used to go there when I went to college in the area. Loved it!

It was my high school hangout. I still go there when I visit my mother. They've added pizza and fried chicken but otherwise, it's the same. Same great condiments, especially the pickles!

Went there about 2 years ago with spouse on same memory lane trip - they were good still.. not awesome, but was fun to show him where we used to hang out when in high school. Good steady, burger place quality is what I'd say.

Unfortunately, I think nostalgia always tends to create such high expectations and delusions, but I will make a stop for a burger and there awesome pickles.
