great food... great sangria... it's melrose so it's pretty trendy... we usually eat and drink some sangria before heading out to the bungalow club (which is really a lounge/restaurant, not a club)... but good food.

I like the one on Ventura better. Quieter, faster and less crowded. Food arrives quicker to your table. Parking is also easier, specially on the weekends.

really really tasty! i usually get a chicken dish over the steaks b/c sometimes the steak can be a bit tough -- but other than that, i a really wonderful little restaurnat.

Me and my husband go to the Lala's on Melrose all the time and love it!
We alwasy take people that are visiting us from out of town to Lala's. We like sitting outside especially in the summer-it's a really lovely atmosphere.

LaLa's on Melrose is great. Food is consistent. I highly recommend the provolone cheese appetizer. It's similar to the flaming greek cheese plate (Saganaki).

The Melrose branch of Lala's is the better of the two, the other residing on Ventura Bl. in Studio City.Lala's has straight forward simple Argentine classics and is a favorite of mine on Melrose to bring friends for the vibe.Their bife de chorizo is delicious and yes the empanadas are tasty.A quilmes, some chimichurri, and maybe a malbec. Fun and affordable.
